Freemasonry offers its members an approach to life which seeks to reinforce thoughtfulness for others, kindness in the community, courtesy in society and generally to make good men better. Members are urged to regard the interests of the family as support is a necessity. Freemasonry also teaches that we should all care for the less fortunate and give help to those who need it.
Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest secular fraternal societies and is a society of men concerned with high moral values.
The Essential Qualification for Membership
The essential qualification for admission into and continuing membership is a belief in a Supreme Being. Membership is open to men of any race or religion who can fulfil this essential qualification and who are of good repute.
From its earliest days, Freemasonry has donated large sums of money which are given to national and local charities.
Freemasonry and Society
Masonic principles do not in any way conflict with its members’ duties as citizens, but should strengthen them in fulfilling their public and private responsibilities.
It would be deemed un-masonic to use membership to promote business, professional or personal interests, this is totally contrary to the high standards of moral code on which he sought admission to Freemasonry.
Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest secular fraternal societies prospective new members are always welcome and further information can be obtained from our Lodge Secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org.
